Dear Dad, I'm so glad we had so much time to spend together these last few months. Although you were so sick and things got so tough, we never gave up hope that you would get better. It wasn't meant to be, though, and it means the world to me that I was able to help grant your final wish to be home in the end and to be there to hold your hand on Saturday. Our last conversation was so precious to me and I will treasure your last smile forever. I will see you in Heaven one day and see you smile again. I love you, Dad. Valerie

Dear Blake, Vanessa, Valerie, Mike and Denisha, I would like to express my heart felt condolences for your loss. As you know, I know exactly how you feel about the loss of your father. But you should also feel good about all you were able to do for him over the past nine months. Vanessa, Valerie and Blake you guys were so lucky to spend the amount of time that you did with him. I know you will be able to look back and be thankful for that time. Mike and Denisha I would like to thank you for the endless hours of service that gave Frank which gave the kids a peace to know that Frank was always being cared for in such a loving way when they were unable to be there. Frank knew how lucky he was to have such a loving family with him until the end. My prayers are with all of you. Love, Brent

Dad, Sunday was one of the most wonderful days of my life, being with you on your final day on this earth. I will always treasure holding your hand, lying next to you, and talking to you and telling you what a wonderful father you were and how much I love you. I will miss our Saturday NYT crosswords, your wise advice, and our email correspondences. I feel privileged to have been there at the end. I love you very much and I miss you terribly. 'Weska'

Dear Denisha, Valerie, Vanessa and Blake, Maida and I were so saddened to learn of Frank's passing. He was a wonderful friend whose great humor and intelligence was always something we treasured. We realize that words are of little comfort at times such as this, but please know that you are in our hearts and prayers. Tom & Maida

He will always be remembered as you share the stories and the memories of how he lived his life and how very much he meant, may you find comfort...And, throughout this difficult time, may you also know the deep sympathy and concern that is felt for you and all your family. May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and strength in the companionship of those who share your loss...All those sleeping in their graves will wake up and sing for joy. As the sparkling dew refreshes the earth, so the Lord will revive those who have long been dead."-Isa. 26:19.

As a Pridgen family in-law/stepdad, I always referred to Frank as my "husband-in-law." Many thought it odd that we became such close friends, but befriending him was easy. Frank was a unique individual with a spirit-grabbing smile, wry sense of humor and an uncommon cut-the-crap analytical ability. Anyone that tried to match wits or put one over on this guy did so at their own risk! I’ll remember him most as a devoted and protective father with a fierce love for his son, daughters and grandchildren. He’ll be sorely missed!
