Clestell Sherbonda, passed away after a long illness just after her 80th birthday. A memorial service in her honor will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010; 11:00 AM at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home. An internment at Daytona Memorial Park will follow at a later date. Clestell was one of 12 children born in Arley, Alabama to Benson and Dela Robertson She worked for many years at the Blue Bird Corporation, a subsidiary of General Motors, and devoted her live as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She spent countless joyful hours tending her garden every flourishing garden, canning her bounty, sewing, and cooking a great meal for her boys. Her beloved husband George, two sons; Jack and Gerald Cleghorn, and 10 siblings preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory 3 sons; Royce, Steven and Kevin Cleghorn, 16+ grandchildren, 12+ great grandchildren, and a sister Audrey Dodd.
