Steven Michael Babecki, 61 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 after a long battle with kidney disease.
He was born December 4, 1959 in Trenton, New Jersey to Wesley and Wilma (Kiss) Babecki. The family relocated to Hollywood, Florida in 1971 where Steven lived for 50 years before moving to Ormond Beach, FL.Steven graduated from McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida. Ultimately, he owned and operated his own valet service for more than 25 years before retiring. He was an avid Outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting.
Steven is survived by his father, Wesley Joseph Babecki, Jr.; and his siblings, Wesley Babecki, III and his wife Robin; BethAnn Pariseau and her fiancé, Gregg; and Lynn Hadley and her husband Rick. Steven is also survived by 7 nephews and nieces – Michael, Leslie, James, Christopher, Heather, Caitlyn and Ryan; and 6 great-nephews and great-nieces – Thomas, Penelope, Jordan, Belen, Everly, and Ellody. Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Florence (Kiss) Babecki.
A Service of Remembrance will be celebrated on Monday, March 15th at 5:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends beginning at 4:00 pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Steven’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation at Kidney.org.
